Welcome to Vanguard Home Watch
Welcome to the official blog of Vanguard Home Watch LLC.
If you own a home in Naples and spend time away, you understand the importance of knowing your property is being looked after.
This blog was created to provide practical insights, seasonal guidance, and real-world information related to caring for your home while you’re away.
Here, you’ll find topics such as:
- Home watch best practices
- Hurricane and seasonal preparation
- Common issues found in vacant homes
- Tips to help maintain your property year-round
Our goal is simple:
To share knowledge that helps you stay informed and confident about the condition of your home—even when you’re not here.
My name is Joseph, and along with my wife Elizabeth, we are the owners of Vanguard Home Watch LLC right here in Naples.
We started this company with a simple goal:
to provide reliable, detail-oriented home watch services you can truly trust while you’re away.
With 26 years in law enforcement and years of hands-on experience, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly small issues can turn into major problems—especially in Florida’s climate. Whether it’s humidity, storms, or something as simple as a small leak, homes here need consistent oversight.
That’s where we come in. At Vanguard Home Watch:
- We are family-owned and owner-operated
- No subcontractors — ever
- Every visit is performed by us personally
- You receive detailed, photo-documented reports after each visit
If you ever have questions about your home—or just want to understand how home watch works—feel free to reach out.
We’re proud to be part of this community and look forward to serving our neighbors.
